Underneath the suit they're mostly wet pulsing tubes and charcoaled bones, like a massive living circulatory system connecting all the organs in the metal tanks to the metal beak that's their actual head. So, yeah! Design concept was inspired by smt style genbu. Really got into the concept of the cumbersome discarded human body literally being crushed under the weight of the engine of the new, and the turtle+snake design was a natural fit

And you know, any other motherfucker out there thinks they're better at this, who thinks they're a bigger hunk of steel and fury than them, thinks they're hot shit? They're just PREY. Fuel to get stronger, burn hotte. Cuz when all this stuff outside ends, they're going out and making it REAL big
