Ashallen (Veil Ranger) grew up knowing the water in and close to Arlathan was AT BEST too weird. By VG, it's usually Emmrich or Neve fishing her out of Treviso canals by her collar (Lucanis thinks enough falls and she'll eventually learn to swim)
