something something irregular plural forms are no longer (as?) productive in english and haven't been for a long time, so when 'computer mouse' was coined as a metaphorical derivation in 1965 and came into everyday in use in just a few decades, 'mouse' just assumed the regularized plural inflection

by no means the first mobile IPA keyboard out there and I haven't really tested it out yet to see how convenient it is, but it offers input in both raw IPA and a qwerty-esque format and you can switch back to your regular mono- or multi- lingual keyboard(s) really easy so it looks promising !!
