I don't get how any developer would EVER deploy code directly to a production environment?

Move to Colorado Springs from Arizona almost 2 years ago and have loved the nature, the air quality, the water, the mountains and of course, the deer! But damn...What is up with the food, and the people and the businesses and the lack common sense? As my dad would say " it's 360° difference"
