This crow-witch is considering adding another trinket to their magical brew. ✨

#Mashaween25 day 8 - witch.
Digital illustration of a mysterious figure cloaked in feathers and wearing a wide-brimmed witch hat that is part crow‘s head. The figure is stirring a magical brew in a cauldron while examining a shiny trinket.

One week into the big art challenge month, how are we all doing? 😁
#Mashaween25 day 7 - bat.
Digital illustration of a bat-crow creature. It has the overall body shape of a crow, but its webbed feet cling to the ceiling of a cave to hang the creature upside down. The crow wings are instead two large bat ears, and the tip of the crow‘s beak flares up like a bat nose.

Kept it quick and easy today with help from the symmetry tool, but I’d love to revisit this concept!

#Mashaween25 day 6 - cemetery 🪦
Digital illustration of a crow combined with the art prompt “cemetery.” The body is a stone urn topped with a crow head partially covered with a cloth. The outstretched wings and tail are made from ornate iron fencing.

This crow aspires to fly to greater heights now that it has outgrown the pumpkin patch.

#Mashaween25 day 5 - pumpkin. 🎃
Digital illustration of a crow that has mutated into a pumpkin. It has long curling green legs, green leafy wings, round orange pumpkin body covered in bumps that are eyes, and a beak emerges from where the stem would be on top.

Combined a crow with a crow, is it Mutation March already? Nah, it’s #Mashaween25 day 4 - crow 😋
Digital illustration of a crow in flight, but the head is a crow’s foot, the feet are a pair of wings, the wings are a series of crows’ heads nested together, and the tail is a tail.

Who can take a sunrise, sprinkle it with dew… the Candy Crow can!

#Mashaween25, day 3 - candy. 🍭 I was a little stumped on this one, so I made a crow styled as Willy Wonka and perhaps made out of sour gummies.
Digital Illustration of a purple crow styled like Willy Wonka—brown top hat, patterned purple vest, and a cane. The crow looks delighted as it tips back its hat, taking a step forward under a rainbow.

Caw caw, it’s Mashaween day 2 - skeleton 🖤💀🖤
#spookyseason #artchallenge #mashaween25
Digital illustration of a crow, but its body and head is a stretched out human skull, set against a vibrant orange sun or full moon.

Happy infamous art challenge month! I’ll be participating in Mashaween by Meg’s Mashables, combining each seasonal prompt with… a crow!
#artchallenge #mashaween25 #halloweenart
Digital illustration of a crow-cat creature. It is styled like vintage Halloween art, in sold black with orange and cream accents. The crow beast has a large toothy grin and is wearing a top hat, large orange bow tie, and spats and all four legs.

The cover for Die Laughing Magazine Issue 4! The image is of a room with pale, yellow walls, with a framed photo on the wall of a vase of flowers in the back. On a table in the foreground, a slice of furry looking fruit pie with stubby paws and a tail (appearing to be somehow both pie and also a star-nosed mole) sits on a light blue plate. Many of their distinctive noses are visible amongst the pinkish berries. To the left of the plate is a fork, also slightly furry and with tines that look like the claws of the mole.

Fair enough. How about the shiny new cover for Die Laughing Issue 4, with art by the inimitable @galusaurus.bsky.social? Seems like a sweet deal to us.
