I agree. I have lived most of my life in Australia (now Italy) and I simply do not understand why Australia is not a republic. The system of government is fine. Just make the Governor General the President, with the same method of selection and the same limited powers and, bingo, you have a Republic

Sure they could avoid violence by doing what? By smilling at an ICE agent and telling him that you are not angry with him. That only gets you 3 shots in the head. By going to assist a lady that has been pushed to the ground by an ICE agent. That gets you a full magazine unloaded into your back!

Its getting off to a slow start but I think we are seein the beginning of the 2nd American Civil War. It is a bit one sided at the moment but the body count is rising on an almost daily basis.

Two minutes after I wrote the above there was a a commentator on the news who was saying that it is totally unacceptable the ICE agents come to Italy as supposed security guards.

In Italy we have just been advised that ICE agents will be sent to Italay as security guards for the USA Winter Olympics Team.
I am pretty sure there is no one in Italy who wants these Nuovo Gestapo here. They should be denied entry as a criminal organisation.

So their attitude is that it is ok for us to launch missiles to kill and injure civilians, and destroy vital civilian infrastructure, but it is not ok for you to sink one of the vessels (a valid military target) that is launching the said missiles.
