JP left movements have been pushing for wealth to be distributed from the rich in various ways. So "ability rich" from the right implies they should distribute their talents to everyone else which AI does by taking and molesting existing work. Very sick minded mental gymnastics going on over there

I feel like for a lot of the post time skip early arcs the best parts were the flashbacks cause the pacing for present day felt slow even in the manga. Maybe cause the flashbacks had less moving parts and the more impactful moments came back to back in them to me at least

Trash taste slander reminds me of way back when I read fishman island in OP. I felt there was a clear parallel to civil rights, MLK, and X. I went online to see who felt similar and for the first time saw that there were parts of the anime community that was anti intellectual & low key racist

Most of my views were mobile but computer wasn't too far behind. I may get smoked too but i'm trying to be optimistic. For me I think I have to start telling people to sub cause I have amazing views and watch time (30-40 min avg) but somehow my viewers are being lazy as fuck with subbing LMAO

When I see several of my peers spiraling cause they went from 80-100k to 20-40. Some way less! They technically still get paid from the unadded views but the algo just halts video momentum thinking half your audience doesn't fuck with you anymore so they get paid less than usual in the long run

I think most of us have to start encouraging people to subscribe, engage with the video, and consider further support if they can. Of course people say to do that in mainstream videos but for people in my space and neighbors that mostly make essays, we typically don't do that. It feels corny lmao

Watched a Zelda video from a Youtube peer and at the end he opens up about the YT changes killing his momentum. I usually don't really ask people to sub and support cause I let my videos speak for itself but it's getting really dire and I might just have to address the elephant in the room

It's one thing to maybe use AI to translate but it's full on AI voiceovers and art. And this is from YouTubers with bigger followings over there. I kinda suspect the attitude towards AI over there is not as controversial as it is here from the way certain JP artists I liked kinda folding for it

For the last month or 2 I've been on the Japanese side of YouTube specifically for YGO at first then other things. The reason why I'm able to lurk that side of YouTube is because of THE RAMPANT USE OF AI LMAO SHIT IS BLEAK
