I was in Vancouver a few years ago for work, and at the departure gate Air Canada were looking for volunteers to take tomorrow's flight. This was to BRISBANE, no-one is casually doing that flight. It's 15 hours... They started offering hundreds of CA$ in cash, and eventually someone bit...

I was in my 40's back then and I'm still here, even if I'm not in the room. And clearly I am on the right hand side of that chart. And I spent a lot of my time helping developers NOT make the same mistakes, and instead make exciting new mistakes.
