What it ended up being was my Nextcloud installation was jockeying for position on the port and I didn't know I had it installed still. When I rebooted whichever one started first won the battle. I got rid of Nextcloud and it fixed it!

Cool I'll try to check out the Discord the problem I was having was I was getting connection refused from curl when installing it but then I noticed in the documentation it said most problems stem from having other stuff like apache so I uninstall apache and now I'm getting error: 404 from curl
