There are very real things to critique Dispatch’s writing for but subtle character storytelling like that isn’t one of them.

Like if I see one more person say “invisibility isn’t a villain power, the writers suck for saying it is” I’m gonna lose my mind. They’re *not* villain powers, *Visi as a character thinks they are bc of the environment she was raised in,* literally 2 secs after she says that Robert says as much.

I deeply miss whatever era of fantasy this was where the story isn’t afraid to take itself *dead fucking serious* without losing the audience. Like yes please the confidence and trust in the audience is so good
