Usually when a sink gets clogged, it's a buildup of soap scum. Oh, and if you're trying to unclog a bathroom sink drain, you need to secure the overflow holes to get proper suction. A wet washcloth works well, double or quadruple thickness and press with your fingers over the holes.

I spent some time in the plumbing shop when I was an apprentice engineer, learned a lot of handy tricks.

If you have a sink plunger (without the flare flap) it's easy enough to clear your drain as long as you realize you have to pull *up* with force, not push down. Fill the sink 1/2 hot water, center plunger over drain, push down slowly then pull up hard, repeat. The nasties that float up... ewww.

I wish those labels didn't mean so much to the people not involved. I'm glad you are getting comfortable with who you are, and I'd like to apologize on behalf of those of my generation who didn't understand and made you feel like you needed to wear a mask to be acceptable. You are fabulous!

I guess that depends. How do you spend the bad days? I seldom let people see that die of me. I generally hide from the world, no interaction with people. Sometimes I don't even sign on the my social media sites, because nobody deserves to have have my grumpiness imposed upon them.

I know all about bad days. I have them often. Like I said, I give people the benefit of the doubt. I generally give people a few chances. The exception being defending child rapists. and maybe one or two other things that show a decided lack of moral compass or grasp of reality.

I collect all sorts of random friends. When they show me they are not nice people I get rid of them. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, then let them hang themselves. Usually I'm not surprised by who needs to go, but I gave them a chance. Not my fault they didn't step up and be human!

This made me laugh so hard, even though it's dissing the country I love. With the current government though, I agree. We're trying to fix it, please be patient with us (or help if you can).
