Well, possible. Funny how shapes just form and all.

Maybe make it more geometric and like a tree(plant) I think, but...I kinda like it anyway

Well well well! I'm making progress learning to rig and model. Lots of work to be done, but its enough to start testing it in godot for a feel for my next game's art.

For now, I prefer focus on my other game and assets for viewers, but stuffs in progress!

So, learning to 3d model. I know roughly what I want, asymmetry intensional. Obviously, fine details and arms are missing, but I have so many quirks I wish to impart on them.

Got the icons in game! Still rough, will need some tweaking, but its a massive step forward!

Closing in on my first demo release!

Increasingly, refinement is focused on menu's and assets!

Well, still needs a background, but very rough draft of the actual level select with the new icons!

Everything does function, just needs polish still.

Art is hard. But I guess this top down hydrant is a essential placeholder for now.

Related note, I'm hoping to yet some playtesters for game feel(and bugs if you're up to it) soonish, so I guess message if interested? Art's lacking and GUI and sound is rough, but games roughest drafts function.

Welp, hoses and some basic hydrant are in. Hoses are tileable, even if sometimes connect funkily.

Gotta implement the new soaked look and about to be soaked overlay. I've the texture, gotta make the variant and add it.

Than half a dozen other things, audio, menu art, etc. But hey, progress!

Game dev is hard when your not an artist.

Anyway! Once I get some more assets a rough draft, Conflagoration Confusion, my firefighting based puzzld game should be ready to be demoed!

Off to try to draw tileable assets now, because my entire firehose setup is ugly placeholders.
