As a somewhat outsider to Mega Man, I'm so baffled seeing fans say the franchise has been neglected, because like... brother, there's about 1000 Mega Man games. I swear I'm learning about a new one every day. Like, wtf is Rockman and Forte? The Wily Wars? What's the difference between Zero and ZX?

Currently editing a video about Spyro the Dragon, and in the process of choosing music for each segment, I keep getting distracted just listening to the music instead. What an incredible soundtrack.

'90s TV shows had kid me convinced that people baking soufflés would be a way more common occurrence.

There are times I start to wonder if all the work is worth it, and then random interactions like this will remind me: Yeah. It is.

I just think it would be a better country if our president could write words of condolences for a beloved director that were as warm and kind as those he wrote for a despised pedophile

My newest video is up on YouTube! Parasite Eve is an interesting dichotomy in that it is a horror plot told through the lens of an RPG, a notably un-scary genre of video game.

"Friend of the Court" is such a funny title simply because of how informal it sounds. Like, "Hey, when it comes to the custody of your child, we've deferred judgment to our buddy, Kyle."

No joke, Pokémon was how I learned that rubber blocks electricity, and I need other millennials to chime in and tell me I'm not alone.

Parasite Eve is interesting in that it is clearly marketed as a horror game but is also an RPG which is a famously non-scary genre of video game. It's not scary, like, at all.

The Truman Show is great for a number of reasons, but the way I've always tended to read the film is as a critique of theism. The idea that an all-powerful god who watches and judges everything you do and has a very specific plan for your life might feel really invasive and creepy, actually.

The cool thing about Digimon is that all its fans are over 30 and so Bandai can just lean into it.

It's funny that people latch onto Joker's "agent of chaos" monologue from The Dark Knight as gospel of his philosophy, because like... he's lying. He's manipulating Harvey into stooping to his level. "Do I look like a guy with a plan?" Yes. The rest of the film shows us that you ALWAYS have a plan.

The most succinct way I've heard someone describe Akira Toriyama's legacy is, "Imagine being the guy who designed the Slime from Dragon Quest and that isn't even the thing you're most famous for."

Can't believe Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles was how I learn that the British pronunciation of "lieutenant" is "leff-tenant."

Final Fantasy XII subtitle font comparison (PS2 vs. Zodiac Age)

I get that the new font is better for readability, but I miss when video games weren't afraid to use fonts more stylized than "default Crunchyroll subtitles." (Or in this case, Times New Roman, a.k.a. "default Microsoft Word font.")
