Well, I understand. But if your life in danger, it is available. However at a cost, as you said. But I also know most hospitals will work with you on bills you can't pay. Most hospitals have organizations to help, or even pay it off for you.But I know ALL hospitals, drs, etc, are all different.

If there was an accident, an ambulance always takes you to the hospital if needed, why were you denied that?

Car insurance is a scam, yes, but it has nothing to do with Universal healthcare. The hospital cannot deny you care, and you are right, the doctor quality is poor, but they can save your live regardless of insurance or not.

Only problem is, Universal Healthcare is like going to a health department and waiting all day. The care is not as adequate. And long wait times for future appointments and/or surgeries. And they will cap the doctors pay, so the quality of care will go down. Other than all that it would be great!
