I just bought this on 12" this week. My brother had the CD single when it came out. According to Wikipedia: Technically, the SC couldn't release a cover of the record until it was released by Joe Smooth in the UK. The day his version of Promised Land was released there, they released their version.

Are they still worth going to see live? I saw the Pet Shop Boys a couple of years ago & was somewhat underwhelmed. Best live electronic act I've seen was Phuture 303 at the Ministry of Sound back in the mid-90's.

I pay O2 £9.60 a month for a SIM card which includes Euro roaming & 20GB of data. Then choose the phone you like from Apple using their interest free payment option. I have an iPhone 14 Plus as I prefer the larger screen size. I recommend using the USwitch website to find the best SIM card rates.
