The Problem Gambling Severity Index (PGSI) is a reliable and standardised measure of at-risk behaviour in relation to gambling.

This Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) study, commissioned by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI), used a controlled experiment to test whether offers, or “inducements”, alter betting behaviour.

Our role is to make sure that gambling is well regulated and fair, that standards are in place and monitored, and that protections are there for those who are most vulnerable, particularly children.
