Rejection is always hard, specially when you think youre doing a good job. But it happens that sometimes your style doesn't align with the vision of the project. Back to the drawing boar and see what can I improve from this experience .

The part that really got me was that he paints over cards in which he didn’t even worked on and covers the credit of the real artist . That’s despicable !

Be sure to do proper investigation before making assumptions . Lorcana is also played by adults and has more of a general public audience . Be sure to ask a Lorcana player how much they spend (who I find out they also play MTG) .
