Hard agree. The fiction I get the most satisfaction from recently has essentially been ‘competence porn’ - clever people overcoming problems without becoming problems themselves.

The DrabbleCast (short audio horror fiction) has been going since 2007. EscapePod (short audio sci-fi fiction) has been going since 2005. Unfortunatly the others from that vintage have shut down. I still have some fav episodes archived!

The original Assassjn’s Creed. Got into it in the second game, wanted to play the original but heard the gameplay was too janky in comparison.

I’ll be there for Saturday and Sunday jamming Commander! They split the pods by tier this time (1-2 and 3-4), so I’ll likely just be bringing my low power decks.
