When I was in the military we used Signal DAILY. We were always using it to discuss day to day operations, but never classified anything. That was what our SCIF and our SIPR net was for. What changed? OH yeah, a drunk got nominated to SECDEF. Fucking idiots.

It's important to note that we've seen ONE of the certainly hundreds or even thousands of messages being sent via Signal. There is much more going on beneath the surface of this story. American intelligence needs to go back to dead drops and secret handshakes after this.
