I agree in principle as long as the 5% vat tax paid on our electricity bill for home charging is factored in.

Why is more not said about CO2 causing the deoxygenation of water, disruptions to the biosphere and acidification of oceans and the major extinctions that followed these shown in the geological record. We are on the same path.

He is wrong, sudden large release of CO2 has resulted in mass extinctions throughout history. Whats changed this time? billionaires may build bolt holes to escape to give them a few more years to survey ruins & have the Illusion of survival but they aren’t the best of humanity they are the dregs!

We need to start emphasising the red lights that are flashing - water deoxygenation, ocean acidification, coral bleaching, These all led to extinction events as per the geological record. I don’t think people see 1.5 as a problem as they think in terms of weather rather than climate.
