I'm glad the government will not introduce employment tribunal fees, but it's not true that "everyone, no matter their income" can get "access to justice" under the current system.

The barriers are endless & if you overcome them & win, you still might not even get the money you are owed

I’ve read some terrible opinions on here. This one is right up there

I’m old enough to remember when Robert Jenrick’s only claim to infamy was doing favours for Tory-leaning councils during ‘levelling-up’. Now he’s stuck in a desperate arms race to see who can say the most racist thing to appeal to Reform voters

It’s depressing the extent to which BBC Sport now leans into clickbait

"Glad you didn't get a penny from your claim as you don't deserve fck all...go fck yourself"

That's the message a director of Crussh sent to Raf just after it went into administration. Two months earlier a tribunal had ordered Crussh to pay Raf over £30k

It’s a glamorous life being a parent of a small child. Daughter has just walked into the bathroom and declared: “It’s time to let the farts out!’

Depressing but important example of a localised misinformation campaign scuppering a UK council's plan to improve support for asylum seekers. Good reporting by Jamie Grierson for @theguardian.com

I dreamt that I opened up a tin of Fray Bentos and found a live seagull submerged in custard. I grabbed it, held it firmly so it wouldn't fly off and made my way through the house while repeatedly shouting for someone to open the front door. Try psychoanalysing that

I’m seeing a lot of long throws in the Premier League this season but has a single one led directly (or indirectly) to a goal?
garethtbij.bsky.social
Thanks. As if posting a GIF suggesting we didn’t deserve to win qualifies as ‘analysis’ 🙄

There are three midfielders on the bench who deserve to be on the pitch ahead of Bentancur. Hopefully one of them comes on at HT
garethtbij.bsky.social
That is absolutely abysmal from Bentancur. Lucky, lucky boy
