George Klein was DJ ing on Beale Street and had a hard looking member of the “Memphis Mafia” who showed me his TCB Ring! Spent some time with a chap called Bill E Burk at his house in Memphis who had been on the local paper. Happy memories esp Gridleys Restaurant Ribs! Thank you for keeping

Wow! 90! I visited Memphis in ‘86 and The Sun Studio was still q basic with a leaky roof and stained sound proof tiles! Graceland still had the little row of shops over the road from the music gate. Was q surreal as it could have been on the Bristol Rd in Gloucester! Met Kang Ree and George Klein

And there is a definite skill in removing all of the chocolate before the mallow and finally the base….. fully competent at this in childhood and still demolish the choc teacake the same way today - Despite the protestations of Mrs G 😳
