Here we go, this brush is almost 40 years old and is now used for poking basing mud around bases. It’s served me very well over the years!

not very, one you're past the server setup.

depends on how comfortable you are logging in to a server, via command line, and running an update command every now and again.

Yeah, then sounds like it would be a relatively simple move to shift it to one of these:

1) a site hosted by ghost themselves
2) a full self host (you control everything)
3) a semi-self host (you control stripe/mailgun/domains, ghost sits on a VPS i bill you for)

if your goal is to move from a magazine/blog wordpress setup with minimal custom plugins to a more "substack-esque" solution (so blogging/posting with that going direct to readers as well as being available as a site) then yeah, it's perfect for it.

Old posts import/redirected links are easy too.

Feel free to drop me an email at the business address in my profile.

My normal approach is a quick zoom call to help understand what people have already, and what they're trying to achieve. Then offer some (free) advice on what to think about and possible next steps.
