@arsecast.bsky.social with the language used in many rules, they leave room for interpretation, and the job of the VAR atm seems to be more of a lawyer, finding a loophole to justify the referees decision. If a referee is giving a red card, he should be able to explain why to the VAR. Oh and FMO 2/2

@arsecast.bsky.social a major issue with VAR, as I see it, is that a ref makes a decision, and then the VAR looks for anything to justify that decision. A potential solution I have come up with, is that if VAR review something, the on field ref should explain exactly what he thinks he has seen 1/2
