Began playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 today and all i can is that i'm genuinely impressed by how well done it is considering it is a new studio around the same size as Supergiant
Getting it on release seems like it's gonna be an amazing birthday gift to myself :')

Capcom, I'm on my knees...please add Layered Weapons if you really want to us to interact with Artian Weapons, they are so ugly compared to the great weapon design of the regular monster weapons

Got the 100% on base MH Wilds last week and i've been trying out some weapon types to understand the moveset changes from World to Rise to Wilds
Like, for instance, Lance doesn't fully click with me in Wilds the way it does on World, but Gunlance did as i can now use it as a parry weapon along SnS

Got the 100% on base MH Wilds last week and i've been trying out some weapon types to understand the moveset changes from World to Rise to Wilds

Got my first ever 1000+ hit on a MonHun game, this was quite the feat bc:
-I play SnS, not one of the big number weapons (PR was busted in World but never got close)
-I'm not fully optimized (running Agi 4, WEX 2, AnVi 3, Max Might 3, Flayer 2, Off Grd 3, Drag Atk 3, Crit Boost 1, no Artian either)

MonHun Wilds is such a great game being held back by some questionable decisions:
-Dynamic weather and connected zones directly affecting the performance of the game
-Paralysis proccing multiple times in a couple of minutes, leaving the mons open to tons of damage very frequently

Played 35 minutes of Blasphemous yesterday and decided not to go further, i'm sure it's a great game but it felt more like a Souls game disguised as a Metroidvania
The theme got a bit disturbing during the cutscene after killing the first boss and i was like "nah dude, i'm fine"

This week I beat Tactical Breach Wizards. The gameplay is really creative, the story is great but the real highlight of the game is the character roster.
Every single character oozes personality, I enjoyed my time with it bar a couple of maps where I felt I had to do very specific moves to win.

Finished Octopath Traveler 2's story today, missing the secret boss side quest for the 100%
What a magnficent game, I'm so glad I decided to play these games in November thinking "I've never beat any JRPG i've tried bc of the grind required"
If they ever make an OT3, I'm buying it on launch day

Finished all 8 character stories from OT2 this week, 4 of 'em today. Thoroughly enjoyed them as much as I did with OT1's. Hikari's was cinema from beginning to end, Castti's fucked me up really bad on Chapter 3 and Throne's final chapter blew my mind.

OT2's soundtrack is elite, this guy and his musicians just don't miss
