CMAT making quite the entrance in Norwich last night, singing on the shoulders of a security guard who was walking through the audience. I felt like I was in the presence of someone who is now too popular to ever come back to the small venues of East Anglia.

Gay as fuck albums that still sound incredible today. Well done the 80s. (Do better whatever we're calling now.)

Today I put up a shelf and made a sausage plait and I wasn't expecting the latter to be the most stressful

The train going up Mount Snowdon stopped two-thirds of the way up because of the weather.

Yesterday I put a hard hat on and instead of looking butch I look like one of those "first day at school" photos that proud parents post.

Last night in a roller disco. No skating took place thankfully, instead I sang and cried along to Richard Hawley's Coles Corner show. Gorgeous!

Belton estate, near Grantham, where one of the beds has a canopy that is 18 feet tall. The rhubarb ripple ice cream was a triumph.

When the butcher's sausages are so big it's frankly indecent there's only one thing to do with them

If you're anywhere near Stamford get to Tolethorpe Hall - their production of The Mirror Crack'd is possibly my favourite Agatha Christie play ever, and the location is stunning
