Excuse me. Isn’t MAGA anti-socialism. And as socialism is defined as the state owning the means of wealth creation, why are they not decrying the recent government acquisition of stakes in Intel and Lithium America?

Given the current administration’s extortion of Intel to get a 10% stake in the company over what they were promised in the CHIPS act, why aren’t conservatives screaming SOCIALISM. The very definition of socialism is the government owning the means of wealth production

Will someone in the media please investigate how many of the January 6 convicts who were pardoned are now employed by ICE? My premise is that Trump pardoned these people to form the basis of his own “brown shirts”. I would love to know if I am right or wrong

This is the stupidest, most incomprehensible SCOTUS ruling ever. States cannot deny Medicare funds to any medical provider willing to accept those payments, but people cannot sue the state to enforce that. So what recourse do people have when the state refuses?ASININE

Does the recent SCOTUS decision mean that a state can outlaw any medical treatment they don’t like?

Somebody in the House needs to introduce articles of impeachment against Kristi Noem for sanctioning assault on a public official, in this case a US senator. It may go nowhere, but to do nothing is ridiculous

81 years ago today we took the first step in the last phase of crushing fascism. My father was one of those brave and terrified soldiers who stormed Omaha Beach. He never bragged about it. Never talked of how great it was. That’s how we know it was special, it was great. Not a loser or sucker there

The “big, beautiful bill” rests squarely on the shoulders of Chuck Schumer and the other turncoat Democrats who voted earlier for keeping the government going and allowed the Republicans to use reconciliation to get this through. And speaking of through, two words, Chuck Schumer

I guess I am a little perplexed at the recent SCOTUS decision to allow the use of the Alien Enemies Act. What war are we involved in now?

I for one would like to see the president charged with grand larceny. Over the last two days he has stolen tens of thousands of dollars from me through his willing actions and theft is illegal

So the Dodgers are going to visit the White House. It figures. Just one more reason to hate them

Happy opening day and I apologize in advance to the fans of all the other teams that end up on the short end of the second D’backs world championship. But with Corbin Carroll winning the MVP in the National League and Zach Gallen its Cy Young, I guess it was inevitable

Right now the Executive is not doing what the Congress has directed and what the courts have ordered. It has broken the system and the Constitution. It has ceased to be the Executive and become the Royal. We fought a war to overthrow one king. Do we need to do it again?
February 11, 2025 at 3:46 PM
Congress passes laws and collects/appropriates money to run the country. The Executive uses that money to run the government/country according to the laws and congressional direction. The judiciary determines legality and constitutionality of acts. Three separate and equal branches working together

Saying DEI lowers hiring standards is saying the groups included in DEI are inherently less qualified. Why has no one called out the biased, prejudiced idiots who denigrate DEI efforts? DEI merely encourages the seeking of qualified candidates that are part of DEI
