We are not all the same, but we are all equal.
You're welcome. Best of luck with the search and decision.

Labor inches closer to the right of centre with every passing announcement. The RW culture warriors and religious purists will remain split along the fringe, leaving a cavernous void on the L. for the Greens and 1other party (hi AusDems?) to fill in opposition. Now wouldn't that be grand?🐖5️⃣🪰 #auspol

Personally, my highest desire suburb is Herne Hill - short drives to North Geelong stn and big box stores, easy access to the ring road, Barwon River trails and CBD/Waterfront. 3/3

Snitzels at The Fyansford Hotel are outstanding. Bahn Mi from VN Rolls Bakery are 💯. Fyansford Common/Queens Park and Barwon River trails are lovely slices of nature. Pakington St is comparable to Chapel St but smaller, with equally dreadful traffic. 2/3

Mount Duneed, Charlemont, Armstrong Creek and Fyansford are all recent/current developments. Corio, Norlane, North Shore, Bell Post Hill and Whittington are my lowest desire suburbs. The "Geelong" line Vline terminates at Waurn Ponds. 1/3

Returned to find the pot of the burnt out candle submerged in molten plastic.

#Thankful and #humbled for it could easily have been a tragedy.

Thank you #Lifetime for expecting me to be an idiot and using a plastic that didn't ignite. 2/2

You should see the looks I get when the partner drags me to the cattery, and I'm wearing my St Kilda guernsey 👀🤣

That said, might I suggest a cursory scroll of the r/Geelong thread. As with anywhere, there are geographical socioeconomic contrasts. These contrasts are clearly pronounced within the Greater Geelong region. Still though, no safety issues experienced. 2/2

About 12 months ago, I had faced the same choice. I'd decided to leave St Kilda after 17 years. Good friends in Bendigo, love the place, but only to visit. I settled on Geelong because of the proximity to Melb, Surfcoast and Otways. Vline is an hour to SthnX. Zero regrets. 1/2

Thanks for the reminder. Mean I have to change the battery in the smoke alarm.

Post LNP self-immolation, his position is unimpeachable.

Perhaps, if he stops with the fringe culture wars and spends his diminishing political capital on the hard stuff like structural economic/taxation/housing reform through the lens of egalitarianism, punters might have something to believe in.

Just as the Liberal party left their "small L" voters with nowhere to go, the ALP is leaving the progressive reformist voter.

As well as deputy PM and a very distant third, local representative.
