And the strings wrap and pull taut on their arms and fingers once again, holding them up and upright. They feel a pang of guilt and regret, that they could not do more for their friends, but if this was all they could do, then it had to be enough, at least for now...

And they defiantly press down the final keys, as to make a ugly sound, an unsatisfying ending to the melody. But they'd already gotten their enjoyment out of it, and any small victory over their current captor, was well worth it...

The two of them, watching from behind, and so they keep going, a small smile creeping on their face. They approach the end of the song, the final notes, and they slow down to savour as much as possible, before they take another deep breath. The smile drains from their face, their teeth grit...

to the freedom granted to them, albeit they know it temporary. They take a deep breath, and begin to play, and fully savour the feeling of being able to play, while trying to ignore the pressing shadows on their shoulders, right behind them. But they think about the other pair of eyes...

... Wrapped in strings, glowing red strings, and as their hands move to touch the keys, the strings to slack, and almost sloth off of them. We cut to the shot of their bangs covering their eyes, as we can suddenly see their eyes past the shadows, eyes widened in reaction...

... storyline that began with meeting the Green Prince in Sinner's Road, and fighting the Cogwork Dancers. Everything else about Verdania is perfect, wouldn't change a thing (except make Palestag teleport slower), but it's just the fight at the very end that's lacking in my opinion.

... up above, punctuated by a loud sound of water hitting the rocks (Loud, comparatively speaking). That'd be neat.

... empty spots from previous gens, so slowly but surely, every Pokémon gets a mega? Maybe each Pokémon should have it's own unique move, with unique animations? And maybe using these moves uses up two turns as a mega instead of just one for a not special move?
