Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) was the movie of choice this weekend. So many great cast members. I need to rewatch the original before I can make any comparison, but it was weird, eerie and unsettling. The mud bath house was unexpectedly creepy. The camera work was also very interesting.

I mentioned my best tv series of 2025 and I’ve been contemplating if there’s a movie I can safely say was mines for 2025. I’ve been thinking of it and while there were some very good ones, the most memorable one that keeps popping up in my head is SINNERS. Definitely my favorite for 2025.

Looking back at 2025. I maintain that the tv series of the year for me was PARADISE. Very excited for S2.

Just finished Welcome to Derry. Oh WOW. It is sooooo damn good. Flash aside due to obvious studio and Gunn interference, Andy is a badass director and absolutely nailed these IT remakes!

Happy New Year everyone. 2025 has been a cool ride for me personally a lot of self development, so can’t trash it. Also started 2025 with 0 cats and now I got 6. Love those buggers so much. Hoping 2026 is wonderful. All the best!

Finished Stranger Things. I expect hate online…. It felt safe. But. I enjoyed it, made me laugh, cry, cheer. Looking forward to Duffers next project.

New Year’s Eve tradition is trending. We call it Ole (Old) Years in Trinidad & Tobago.
Some traditions I remember or should we call it superstitions, is:
Eat black eye peas for good luck
Have money on you (in your pocket, wallet etc ) for financial luck/blessings

On a more positive note, I completely enjoyed and liked Del Toro’s adaptation of Frankenstein. He truly is a master of his craft. The cast nailed their roles and ofc I have to be bias and mention how superb Goth is.
I guess we can safely say that “Frankenstein is the monster” now? 😄

Like the expansion of the world, Love the new species. Story is good, acting is top notch, and yes I'm a bit bias to the music at the end of each episode lol. Hoping it gets renewed, the eye got me so intrigued.
