If reports are accurate, at least - it appears this is just a rumour for the time being! I wouldn’t be surprised if it hits 3 hours, but close to 4 does seem a bit unlikely in hindsight when they could split that in two and make twice as much money.

The magic system is so, so good. By the end I had multiple enemies floating in the air as I peppered them with all kinds of elemental magic while storms rained down striking lighting on them. Super cool!

This appears to just be a rumour for now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it were leaked intentionally to gauge reactions. Every teaser trailer has been leaked shortly before release in a pattern that’s felt quite deliberate to keep a conversation rumbling along.

Perhaps we’re getting a whole hour setting up Doom, a whole hour with the X-Men before their universe falls apart etc. Enough time for the large ensemble of characters to each get their due.

That’s great to hear! Every chapter I’ve read so far has made me keen to start the next. I’ve seen this author’s previous book (The Sword of Kaigen) recommended a bunch too.
