We can hope. However I think Orban learned a lot from the Georgian election, Russia and China will have been working assiduously to give technological advantages. The EU better have solid monitoring teams in non urban voting nodes in Hungary this April.

NATO needs a root and branch reform because like you said Unanimity is the founding principle. Hungary, Slovakia have shown they are in the enemies orbit and have no place in the organisation. Mechanisms need to be put in place at a minimum to downgrade such states protection status to ‘unprotected’

Yea that’s a fair assessment I wasn’t distinguishing specifically between AWOL and active unit desertions on the contact line and behind. It’s a very worrying issue and sorry but Zelesnkys recent decision to allow men < 22 y.o was an epic strategic fuc* up.
