In my experience, nerve pain moves a lot. It dances across your body like electricity and makes you feel weak and even sick. It's incredibly inconsistent as to what agitates it and what soothes it, which is maddening. Get it looked at. I didn't, and now this is my life for the next couple of months.

My advice to anyone who habitually suffers back/shoulder/arm pain: learn the difference between muscle pain and nerve pain, and if you think you have the latter, get that shit checked out. Better you talk to a doctor/PT while it's manageable rather than when it suddenly becomes hell one day.

Today is the first time in over a week that I've felt normal and able. It's still obvious that the pinched nerve is there, and that I need the medication and physiotherapy to make these good days possible, but damn it's good to feel normal again. It's good to be reminded that this is possible.

While I have found a few smaller/older EPs and albums missing/mislabelled on Qobuz, in the past few months a few of my favourite artists have pulled their music from Spotify almost entirely, including King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard as well Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

I've been using Qobuz for a few months now, and while it initially lacked basic features (main one being it had no way of telling me when artists I followed/had listened to released new stuff), they've since added that and I have basically zero complaints now.

There are better reasons to cancel your Spotify subscription, but here's another: their new, long-awaited "lossless" streaming is pretty lacking.
