Gambit intro did seem pretty fresh and different when it was introduced in D2. But personally, I never liked pvp so I barely tolerated it. So if Marathon had to have pvp, I'd be more excited to play if it was like an inverted dungeon where teams compete to fight bosses & solve puzzles to escape

Similarly, I too fell for the hype of the original teaser trailer from 2023, the ARG solved music tracks and that mini cinematic. But after watching all the gameplay reveal trailers, and also some content creators impression, I'm not as excited as I was for Marathon either.
