It's really weird to demand accountability from a NYC mayoral candidate for a deadly NYC shooting rather than the current NYC mayor, an ex-cop who campaigned on a "tough on crime" platform and promptly got indicted for crimes

something I haven’t seen mentioned enough is that by replacing Joy Reid with a trio of Simone Sanders-Townsend, What Up Michael Steele and Senator’s-Daughter Alicia Menendez and Alex Wagner with Jen Psaki, msnbc is choosing to replace people who built careers in news with political operatives.

I actually wish the media would stop using "DEI" and "diversity hiring" and just get to the essence of the thing and ask:
"Are you saying that this crash was caused by desegregating the races?"
And see what happens.
