Just a normal lad from Tyrone with a wife, two kids, a dog, and an unhealthy obsession with Liverpool FC.
St Patrick’s day watching the Pool smash Madrid will be special 🍻

Couldn’t manage a piss up in a brewery.

I don’t genuinely think Arne is to blame, but it never sat right with me that his family stayed in the Netherlands. He cannot be 100% committed whilst his wife and children are in another country. I know they have school, but it’s not a viable set-up long term. Jurgen was all in. Family and all.

A. Can’t see it happening
B. What’s anyone at Liverpool supposed to do about it? He’d been learning Spanish for a year. Vice-captain of the club about to win the league. If he’s available, we should get him, but would not surprise me if he signed for City.

Nunez had to go, couldn’t hit a barn door. 12 months ago if you’d have said we’d get Isak and Nunez would be sold 99% of people would’ve been delighted. Hughes sold Diaz, Slot wanted to give him a new deal, Elliot was a bit-part player last year.

Don’t think Slot can be blamed for transfers

To add, Jurgen had two spells like this, where we couldn’t buy a win for months on end. He got patience, Arne will too. Unless the players, or Arne, feels he needs to go, then, maybe, but I cannot see him being sacked less than a year after winning the PL. It’s not going to happen.

This is why I absolutely cannot see the club parting ways with Arne.
1. He doesn’t do the transfer business, Hughes does.
2. They’re all numbers people, and looking at the numbers - we’ve been the better team on the pitch most of the time this year
3. Squad injuries have been very unlucky

I don’t think we can blame Arne. He’s not in charge of buying and selling, and that’s the issue. We miss Diaz, Isak was a mistake. We miss Trent. VVD is past it. Konate’s head’s in Madrid. Leoni ACL on his debut. Jota’s loss also looms large. PL winning manager. He’s been given an impossible hand.

And still, a shitshow, all the same. Great play. Shite result.

Mate I deleted that shite last week. Had enough. Still feel the news is a bit slower here though. I see people reacting to news, not the story itself. Who’s good to follow?

I’m not a betting man but I’d genuinely put Arsenal to win and score at least 3.

Why so? I know very little about him tbf, only that we’ve been linked to him. Luis Enrique would be unreal. A very likeable guy.
