It’s media, entertainment and news silos, as well as confirmation bias. Most people don’t want to hear information that conflicts with what they already believe to be true, and when they do hear it, they will brush it aside as fake or propaganda.

I speculate that it’s because underneath the “pro life” movement is the much stronger “pro-natalism” agenda. It’s not so much that they don’t want abortions to happen, it’s that they want more babies born. So advocating for vasectomies would go against their goal of increasing the human population.
