The Supreme Court ruling related to the definition of a woman only for the purposes of the Equality Act 2010. To leave out that important qualification is a bad and inaccurate omission. I would have expected better of The Guardian.

I'm of the view that universities should hire their CS undergraduates to write software. I see so much shit software in my university that would be barely passable as a third-year project, but for which the university has paid a six- or seven-figure sum.
