🌹Remembrance Sunday 2025.🌹

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning.

We will remember them.

Lest we forget.🌹🇬🇧

We have a number of poppies on lamp posts in Withington Village that have been put up by @mancitycouncil.bsky.social as part of a new partnership with Royal British Legion.

They help us remember and recognise the sacrifices made by our armed forces ahead of Remembrance Sunday.

Lest we forget.🌹🇬🇧

I've voted for @lucympowell.bsky.social in the Labour Party Deputy Leadership election.

Lucy is a great champion of progressive Labour values. She will work hard as Deputy Leader to help deliver the change that this government was elected to bring about for residents in Manchester and beyond.🌹🏡
