Human, barely. Chronological age 42, mental age 15, physical age 75. Of little value or interest.

Struggling writer trying to dislodge whole worlds from my brain.
Husk and Angel feel like they're dealing with real life problems but with the consequences flipped. They can't be killed by their vices via ODetc, but it also will never end

In that instance, alot like Lucifer, it's self-torture but that only works because, at the core they're decent people.

I get that but I guess my point is that it seems a little too close to being alive

There are those that aren't repentant, like most of the overlords for example that, even if they are dealing with their own inner demons have decided that If you can't be happy, being in charge is the next best thing

...punishing going on in Hell.

Like, it's a shitty place to live, but we see alot of residents living it up. Like yeah, it's full of shitty people doing shitty things and drowning in their own vices but how's that much different than LA? :P

There's noone really 'Burning in the Pit" as Adam put it.

I often like the 'Lucifer isn't technically Evil' side of these kinds of shows and for once it's not a 'He's the Jailor' story ie Lucifer or Little Nicky.

Interesting spin that he has almost no power over the mortals though and is just as much a prisoner.

I do sometimes think there's not enough...

I'm just hoping for the Solar Flare EMP that wipes the entire banking system out...

...and maybe Triffids. Probably still worth it.

Applies to Bonfire Night over here.

"How do we make sure this is never forgotten?"

"We let them Burn things?"

Its based on the EU Broadcasting union which rose out of WW2 to try and unify news and aid the recovery across Europe. Israel was included in that union since they had just been created etc.

UNFORTUNATELY the issue now is Israeli money. MorroccanOil, an Israeli company, is their biggest sponsor.

Its almost like children are allowed to be upset with their parents when they screw up, but can also overreact because we're all flawed people and it doesn't all need to be resolved in 30min or less.

Man, media literacy is in the toilet.

How have people still not learned that Humans do not come equipped with Pockets?

I wouldn't mind but when ACTUAL notable stats come up, they haven't got a clue.

A couple weeks ago a stat that had held for over a Century was broken and the only one reporting on it was the UK commentary team.

But they knew how the QB performed under 40 degrees with red Gatorade.
November 27, 2025 at 11:26 PM
I refer to these as "American Stats".

Noone has the ability to pull out a randomly specific stat like an American commentary team trying to fill airtime.

My favourite was something about a Left footed kicker, on a Thursday in November from more than 40yrds but less than 45.

Why does RFK look like a failed attempt to clone Tom Hanks?

The original notion of it was the Government making an example of him.

He was executed via public burning.

Then every year after, effigies of him were burned as a reminder. Somewhere along the line it got co-opted by the peasantry.
November 26, 2025 at 7:15 PM
Yeah it's absolutely become it's own thing.

I have a neighbour who donates to the local bonfire every year as an excuse to get new furniture/clothes every couple of years.

...in modern times but it pays to remember the real history and reasoning beneath it all.

That and how easily the masses are placated with
acceptable pyromania and Fireworks.

The gist of it, Fawkes was the fall guy. It was a huge conspiracy but someone talked and he was the one found in the Cellar of the Houses of Parliament with barrels of Gunpowder.

But yeah it was pretty much Les Mis. Poverty in the Peasantry etc.

Its kinda this idea of celebrating rebellion...
November 26, 2025 at 7:11 PM
Now I never said that. Based on the situation at the time, I think I know which side I'd be on but that being said.

There's making an example and then there's Guy Fawkes Night.

Game gotta respect game.
November 26, 2025 at 7:05 PM
To be fair, there's something to respect about a nation that made an example of insurrectionists so hard that it became a national holiday, celebrated by children that still create and burn effigies after over 400 years.

Just a random musing I guess and maybe im overthinking it.

Anyway, here's me singing it because why not.
