On 1/4 I went with a friend to see Song Sung Blue starting Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. Although there are some serious even sad moments— I really enjoyed this film.

Last night visited our local fire station and brought my gratitude and a box of chocolates. Also a big hug. Today we are expecting dangerous winds again. Hoping the heroes I visited yesterday stay safe and we have no fires again.

Worked today. Went out for a quick dinner. Now at home waiting for New Years . Planning on going to bed shortly after midnight. Have been hearing fire crackers all evening. It will be worse at mid night . Wishing all a happy New Year.

Yesterday had a great boxing class followed by a very good mitts workout. Ran errands. Treated myself to a facial. And had sone time visiting with a couple of friends. Going back to Gladiator 2 — although I have plenty to do.

Saw Gladiator 2 last night. Loved the first film . And I do love this one. Ridley Scott and his team are masters of building worlds. I truly felt I was in the Roman world last night. Very good performances. I will have to see it again.
