Well, thats another christmas day over with. We hosted today and it was quite stressful from about 11am. Cut to now and things are back to normal but cooking for family takes its toll. Out to everyone who did the same and remember, it was worth it. Family is everything.

'Another' Christmas food shop today and I think... thats it! Jesus H Corbett. It doesn't seem to matter how much financial preparation there is, we always go over budget and this year is no different.

Its kinda crept up on me this year but we've only got a few more days till Christmas. This year we are hosting lunch on the day. I might even dig out my copy of 'The Box of Delights' and start watching it from this evening. That'll bring back a heap of memories of being a kid again in the 80's.

I've been recording some old tapes from way back - circa mid 90s up to the millenium when the world was a different place. You can hear it in the music and the crowd...

I'm applying for a job with a cleaning company tonight in the vain hope I can get some part-time work. I've had to jump through various (tedious) hoops so far including, a 'DBS check'. It appears that cleaning jobs have moved on a bit since I last applied for something similar. Fingers crossed!
