I guess it’s also my fault for sometimes playing ranked mode 😅 getting to day 10+ would often become about who’s build can trigger faster, which rendered a lot of cards and strategies that have a higher cooldown useless…
Granted they update the game a lot so it’s hopefully better by now

Curious how you like it so far? 👀 I played quite a lot when It first came out but ended up quitting, I think its competitive nature kind of ruined the joy of experimentation I get from roguelikes? I’d often wanna try “something silly” that was fun, but always lost against just a normal strong build

(that’s not to say I never dropped drawings or even whole projects mid-way) and I’m not even sure how to develop that tolerance… but I guess for me, the idea of giving up ONLY because it’s hard hurts more then the pain from the frustration at that actual moment

I’ve been thinking about this today after spending almost 2 hours trying to draw a single pose sketch of a character… being able to tolerate the frustration and push through when it becomes hard (and it almost always does) is the main trait that you can develop to improve your art
