As an aging boomer (sorry for my peers) I hope that you're right. They waited until all but a handful the WWII generation were gone. My Dad, my Uncles and most of my neighbors growing up are spinning in their graves as we've collectively betrayed their sacrifices and failed them thus far

I had an Econ professor in the early 80's that recognized that Reaganomics(trickle down)was a scam and only helped the wealthy long term. He broke it down and said we're operating as a 3rd world economy and we'd see the worst effects 40 yrs later. The class scoffed and 40 yrs later, he was right😭
