Canonically, the Wizard is just some random dude that ended up in Oz so it even fits within the fiction of the universe that Jeff Goldblum is simply that random dude, which also totally tracks for someone like Jeff Goldblum in our actual reality

This is the first opinion I’ve heard that wasn’t extreme praise, let alone critical. Haven’t seen it yet. What didn’t work for you?
