Speculation about Trump's health aside, a situation has been created that allows a person with the mentality of a foot-stamping 4-year-old spoiled brat to get even with the world.

Trump is acting like he doesn't have anything to lose and he can tear it all down and get away with it. Certainly, the Supreme Court's ruling that a president can do anything in the name of his office and avoid prosecution is part of it.

If Republicans want to increase health premiums for everyone on Obamacare, they just need to vote for it and own it.

If Republicans want to end the shutdown they can - they can change Senate rules and eliminate the filibuster. They don't want to do that because they don't want to take full blame for unpopular GOP policies. The filibuster encourages individuals of the out of power party to make deals.
