How can we coexist in the world?
We need to share stuff.
We’re making a free, open-source network for exchange, a commons of care that’s democratic and based on need.

Like if a local tool library had a food pantry & a team organizer, see also CYBERSYN 🌈

Because all tech decisions are made by a few people.
The distribution, implementation, and management of technology should be democratically decided.

Does that help?

The "protopian" aspect is that this revolution isn't achieved through a single violent overthrow 😅
but through the prototypical building of a new system within the old one (see interstitial)

Each collective resolution of a resource allocation problem, is proof that a democratic economy is possible.

Horizontalidad: (Spanish:
"horizontalism") A social relationship of non-hierarchy that emphasizes direct democracy and collective action. It emerged from the Argentine factory occupations.

CyberSyn was cool for its time. We’re building on that idea: a free, shared IoT that can automate mutual aid or shared resources.
Like a Tool Library but (eventually) for EVERYTHING.
Open source (non-commercial license) and free
One of you nerds should finish the software for cybersyn and then at proto can be used to run the next socialist planned economy that emerges

We made our first pamphlet!
“…we have very little time.
What we need is more than to simply proselytize the message of this pamphlet and hope that when enough people read it and agree with it, then the world will change.
That's not a realistic theory of change.”

Do you think all we have to do is a little something, each of us contributing into a larger more powerful system?
One of the weaknesses of this approach is that it becomes diffused through inefficient networks.
We don’t know what the other ones are doing or what they need.

If you were making a “tool” library to contain every possible use case for each tool. Where would you start?

Let’s say your tool is perishable.
Not just wear ‘n tear, but has weeks to live, like a tomato plant. Then what?
It’s could be a tool library (1 use)
or used to organize community food or other resources
but on a local node/ interest level

The gaslighting is over. Artists now fully grasp the AI business model—which is to destroy their livelihood and replace human music with bot slop.

Hey nerds- we’re reverse engineering Capitalism !

Mutual aid, tool library, food and housing networks, community news and alerts, democratic, open-source, organizing tools… It’s meant to be a commons of care.

Interested? We’re forming a boot camp. #Rust

Inaction is surrender to inevitability.
We’re still making it
-
what we aim to build is the system for apps first. Like the structure for an open-source (NEW) internet of things

or like if your local Mutual aid project wanted to join a larger network as a federated node.
