Just when we thought six bear cubs was our record…along came number seven! 🐻 ID #25-3865 arrived after being found orphaned in the Tahoe area. Confirmed healthy, he is doing well, & should be released in the spring with the other cubs currently in our care.

This bird has quite the story! The person who brought it into us for help saw it dropped by a hawk into a local parking lot! We are happy to share it's healing well, and thriving in care.

If you're in North America, trimming trees in late fall into winter is the safest time, but we ask that you still keep an eye out for wildlife that may need help! Trimming trees now means fewer babies in need of our care in the spring. ❤️🩹

This bird came to us after a run-in with a car & some unwanted attention from a domestic cat. After three weeks of care, it was ready to head back home.

It's almost midnight so let's look back at two mischievous juvenile raccoons who found their way into a fast food restaurant's grease trap one night! After MANY baths & some time to rest and grow a little older, they returned to the wild.
