As we come together these initial paralyzing reactions subside and action becomes possible. Please do not shame or blame others if they are needing time and support to come into action. Violation and existential threat cause paralysis - that is something perpetrators know and exploit.

Mutual support, validation of experience, and acceptance of the reality of what has happened is critical to coming out of paralysis and into action.
