Oops, I guess mine is pretty different after all. I remembered it being simpler than it actually was.

I like yours better!

Working on a Sinners inspired drawing and cursing my own art-style of hatching EVERYTHING.

Just designed and printed a painting handle that works like a 4-jaw self-centering chuck, for painting miniatures that prints in 16 parts and can hold figure bases between 3/8” all the way to 3” plus small objects like flagpoles.

Work in progress animated walk cycle for a project I’m working on.

This is just 15 key frames and extremes based on a ‘paper-puppet’ rough structure so I can keep proportions correct. I’ll redraw all these frames to make them less stiff.

Then I’ll be tweening about 60 frames.

Traveling by train from Portland to New Orleans for a new job. So far Montana has most mesmerized me on the journey so far

So I’ve been working on my marionette character, ANDi, who is a robot who goes through a lot of changes. Recently I’m making alternate parts for him to convey those changes.

Everyone on the US right now, including cops

Dang! This is awesome! And you’re in Portland. I wish I’d met you before I was leaving. I feel like we have some common ground art-wise.

Looks like I’ll be teaching two classes next September - October at the Marc Adams School for Woodworking in Franklin, Indiana. #MASW #Puppets #Marionettes

So I’ve kept up working on my fan-made 3D model of the titular silo from the #AppleTV+ show #SILO!

I began poring over production art, BTS, and stills from the show to make the central staircase as accurate as I possibly could. You can download it from my GrabCAD profile grabcad.com/library/silo...

So, I’m LOVING the #AppleTV+ show #SILO

After watching the season 2 opener I had so many questions I had to build a 3D model to get my head around it. Now I’ve made an infographic!

I know Juliette wasn’t thinking straight after nearly being poisoned & then nearly asphyxiated; her plan was not good

I got into the show #SILO on #AppleTV+ but it left me with so many questions about the whys and hows that I recreated parts of it in 3D using production photos for reference.

Here I am proving I got the dimensions correct by overlaying a still from the show over my #3Dmodel.

I mean, this was our generational avatar, so I suspect something was going on we were aware of

I guess I’m gonna finally show a little of what I do on here.

I make marionette puppets and used to perform live shows. Now I mostly dream of having a workshop again and berate myself for never producing anything.

Anyway, here’s a few from my bygone glory days.

I guess I did do one file that had 112 layers! It was a pretty unique circumstance though. A poster for a Steampunk convention that had a LOT of info and imagery to try and balance. (Ended up being over a gig and a half, too!)
